Vaughan is getting ready to put its arts, culture and community spirit on display.

Starting September 18, Vaughan Culture Days returns with more than 50 free events happening across the city through October 4. From performances and creative workshops to heritage experiences and community activities, there are plenty of ways to experience a different side of Vaughan.

The celebration officially kicks off on Saturday, September 19 at the City Playhouse Theatre from 1 to 4 p.m., with live performances, interactive arts and culture activities, vendors and a special performance of Beauty and the Beast.

If you're looking for something a little different, the lineup continues throughout the following weeks with events ranging from storytelling and book clubs to cultural activities and exhibits.

It’s a good reminder that there's more to Vaughan than shopping centres, restaurants and busy roads. There’s a growing arts and cultural scene right here in the community, and this is a great time to experience it.
