Taste of the Kingsway: A Weekend Worth Exploring

If you're looking for an easy way to ease into the fall season, head west.

Taste of the Kingsway returns to Bloor Street West from September 11–13, transforming part of South Etobicoke into a lively three-day street festival celebrating food, music, local businesses and community.

Now in its 28th edition, the festival offers something for just about everyone. Expect restaurants and food vendors, live entertainment, marketplace vendors, interactive activities and family-friendly attractions throughout the weekend.

More Than Just Food

Despite the name, there is plenty happening beyond the food.

The festival features entertainment across multiple stages, local vendors, family activities and a variety of community attractions. There will also be a classic car show and NHL alumni appearances, adding a little something for sports and automotive fans.

For families, the weekend includes a Fun Zone with activities and entertainment for younger visitors. The festival is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, whether you're stopping by for lunch, browsing the vendors or spending an afternoon exploring the neighbourhood.

Make a Day of It

One of the best parts of Taste of the Kingsway is that the festival extends beyond the street itself.

The Kingsway is known for its independent shops, restaurants, cafés, professional services and neighbourhood atmosphere, making it easy to turn a festival visit into an afternoon of exploring one of Toronto's established communities.
