Toronto’s favourite end-of-summer tradition is back. The Canadian National Exhibition runs from August 21 to September 7, 2026, bringing nearly three weeks of rides, food, live entertainment, exhibits and plenty of nostalgia to Exhibition Place.
Something for Everyone
Whether you’re there for the midway, the food or the entertainment, there’s plenty to explore. This year’s lineup includes the Bell SOUNDSTAGE at the Bandshell, the Air Show, SuperDogs, Kids’ World, the Farm, the Garden Show and an ice skating and acrobatic show.
And then, of course, there’s the food. From classic fair favourites to new creations, the CNE’s Food Building and featured food vendors are a destination of their own.
Make a Day of It
The CNE grounds are open from 10 AM to midnight for most of the exhibition, giving you plenty of time to explore during the day and stick around for the evening atmosphere. The Midway runs until midnight as well, with rides opening at 11 AM on weekdays and 10 AM on weekends.
Getting there is easy too. Exhibition GO Station is right at the grounds, while the TTC’s 509 and 511 streetcars stop at Exhibition Loop.
Whether you go for the rides, the food, the shows or simply the tradition, the CNE is one of those Toronto experiences that signals summer isn’t quite over yet.
